Hannah is an experienced integrative counsellor specialising in children’s and young people’s mental health, working with ages 6 to 16. With over eight years of experience in specialist and SEN schools, mental health charities, and as a school counsellor, she has supported children through a wide range of emotional and behavioural challenges — including anxiety, low mood, low self-esteem, self-harm, suicidal thoughts, family issues, and behavioural difficulties.
Hannah has a strong background in neurodiversity, with extensive experience supporting children with Autism, ADHD, and additional needs. She takes a trauma-informed, child-centred approach, drawing on a range of creative, play-based, and ecotherapy techniques to help children express themselves, build emotional resilience, and develop healthy coping skills.
Warm, calm, and relatable, Hannah creates a safe and supportive space where children feel understood and empowered to explore their feelings. She tailors each session to the individual, helping young people strengthen their emotional wellbeing, improve self-regulation, and grow in confidence both in and out of therapy.
Hannah holds an MA in Psychotherapy and Counselling, a Postgraduate Certificate in Interpersonal Counselling Skills, and a Level 2 qualification in Children and Young People’s Mental Health. She is also a BACP Accredited Counsellor, committed to providing ethical, professional, and effective therapy for children and families.
Outside of her counselling work, Hannah enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking, exercising, and being outdoors.
The counsellor my daughter has worked with, Hannah Craggs was a brilliant support. Hannah is professional, empathetic, open, kind, she communicates really clearly, and she is the first counsellor that my daughter has felt able to engage with. My daughter has felt heard and supported throughout the process. As a parent it can be incredibly difficult when your kids are struggling, but in particular Hannah have provided piece of mind and invaluable support, for which I am very grateful.
